For this week's blog entry, please answer AT LEAST two of these questions and provide AT LEAST one photograph or video for each answer. Each answer should be a MINIMUM of 100 words (200 words total). Please submit the LINK to this entry via Learning Suite.
1. What have you discovered about contemporary representations of women in British museums, art, and performance?
2. Chris Ofili created the three-wall fresco Requiem about the Grenfell Tower fire. He says this about making the work: "I was conscious that whenever I passed Grenfell, I looked away. But this luxury has expired.” He also says: “I hope that the mural will continue to speak across time to our collective sadness.” What role do you think art can have in depicting a collective human need? Find a piece of art or music that does for you what Ofili tries to do for the people of London with Requiem. Share a link to the art or music in your blog and write about how the work you share creates space for collective storytelling that evokes feeling about a human need (link + 250 words).
3. In what ways have your faith, education, and international experiences shaped your view of global feminism?
4. What commitments will you carry forward from this experience to support justice and flourishing in your future communities?
